Project Engineer – Aviation Market Segment (5+ years exp.)

We are currently accepting resumes from qualified project engineers with previous consulting experience to work in our Aviation Market Segment. Individuals will perform and manage planning, design, permitting, and construction administration tasks on a variety of technically challenging projects.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Performs assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks.
• Preparation of studies and reports
• Preparation of plans, specifications, schedules, budgets, and cost estimates
• Detailed design engineering
• Site investigations and construction administration
• Identification and management of client deliverables and expectations
• May require up to 30% travel

Specific project experience should include the following:

• GSE Facilities
• Hangars
• Aprons
• Runway and taxiway
  
• Airfield lighting
  
• Fueling
  
• Master Planning
• Landside experience

Qualifications:

• 5+ years related experience in consulting engineering
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited university
• GA P.E. required
• Aptitude for learning and applying inter-discipline skills in a diverse project environment
• Aviation Airside/Landscape Civil Engineering experience
• Airport & Landside Project Engineering experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to customer service
• Must be extremely dependable, responsible, and flexible with a strong work ethic.
• Must be resourceful and able to communicate with a high-level of professionalism with clients, sub-consultants, and office staff
