Success Story: Coca-Cola Bottling Company Production Center Prime provided field survey, engineering and construction administration services to expand Coca-Cola’s Atlanta bottling plant and warehouse from 246,500 to 389,000 square feet. Features of the expansion included a new railroad crossing, 275 employee/visitor parking spaces, 186 tractor-trailer parking spaces, 37 loading/unloading docks, new visitor and employee entrances, a new QA/QC lab and microlab, new locker and break rooms, new waste recovery facility, and new transportation facility. This program consisted of multiple projects to upgrade or replace existing CO2 storage tank and distribution systems at 22 production facilities. Prime provided comprehensive design, permitting, project management, and construction inspection services in an aggressive and phased manner.
