The Senior Instrumentation/Controls Engineer will contribute to our rapid growth by interfacing with industrial project managers to complete various size capital projects.
The Industrial Market Segment specializes in petroleum & chemical, food & beverage, consumer products, process & manufacturing, and fueling support for aviation facilities. Work elements include liquid and gas storage; pumping and piping systems; heat exchangers; drainage systems; and bulk petroleum/chemical receipt, storage, loading systems.
Position Duties
- Engineering and design discipline leader, providing technical guidance and quality check on design team’s output
- Prepare detailed estimates for industrial projects including BOMs, labor and schedule
- Design of instrumentation and control systems for chemical, refining, petrochemical and specialty chemical plants, including preparing instrument specs, loop sheets, wiring diagrams, etc.
- Prepare and oversee completion of design packages for projects to meet code and client requirements.
Qualifications
- BS Electrical Engineering degree from ABET accredited college (or BS degree related to Instrumentation/Control Systems)
- 10 years of experience in detailed instrumentation/controls design in industrial plants
- Highly skilled in AutoCAD
