Prime Engineering is looking for a Survey Technician to join our Atlanta team in a hybrid role.

We are currently seeking a Survey Technician to join our team in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you should have a working knowledge of field survey methods, materials, instruments, equipment, and procedures; basic construction safety practices; and codes and ordinances, rules and regulations affecting field survey operations.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience preparing ALTA/ACSM land surveys, boundaries, topographic, utility as-built including “plan & profile” and other drawings.
  • Knowledge of the basic principles, techniques, and practices of land surveying.
  • Knowledge of survey ethics and technical standards.
  • Experience processing data using Carlson and Trimble Business Center.
  • Experience in processing and drafting GDOT projects in InRoads or OpenRoads.
  • Familiarity with MicroStation.
  • Highly proficient in mathematics and measurements.
  • Highly proficient with AutoCAD.
  • Provide field crew support.
  • Ability to read and organize field notes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with project managers, field staff, and clients.
  • Service-oriented attitude.
  • LSIT is a plus but not required.
